Community Initiatives - Project Specialist
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for working with community partners, the low-income community, volunteers and agency consumers to achieve the goals and objectives of assigned projects. This is a full-time hourly position in the Agency's Community Initiatives Department reporting to the Community Initiatives Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Post-Secondary degree in Social Work, Family Services or related field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Two-year's experience in a case management position preferred.
WAGE: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt position and wages will be based upon education and experience.
This position offers a full benefit package, paid time off (accrued vacation and sick time) as well as 15 paid holidays. A 5 day/8 hour or a 4 day /10 hour schedule can be considered. Primary work location is 821 Anola Dover but the position is responsible for services in Harrison, Carroll and Tuscarawas Counties in Ohio.

Community Initiatives - Volunteer Manager
Retired Senior Volunteer Program
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for volunteer initiatives. Serves as the RSVP Project Director with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
Experience: One year experience working with older adults and volunteers preferred.

Head Start - Teacher Substitutes
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, implementation, and management of the Head Start Center, including Site Administrator as required Job and Family Services Child Care Licensing Rules and Regulation. Supervises all center enrollees and adults. Participates in a team process to implement the Head Start Program and maintain compliance of the performance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education or a baccalaureate or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children preferred. An associate degree in early childhood education; or an associate degree in a related field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children; or a baccalaureate degree and has been admitted into the Teach For America program, passed a rigorous early childhood content exam, such as the Praxis II, participated in a Teach For America summer training institute that includes teaching preschool children, and is receiving ongoing professional development and support from Teach For America's professional staff required.
Experience: Two years teaching preschool children and supervising staff in a pre-school program or equivalent preferred..
WAGE: Hourly wage negotiable and will be based upon education and experience.

Head Start - Teacher Assistant Substitutes
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing a nurturing learning environment for preschool children through high quality individual and group activities under the supervision of the Teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have at a minimum a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential, or are enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree or, are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of the time of hire.
Experience: Experience working with 3-5 year olds in a pre-school program or equivalent preferred.
