Head Start offers child-centered, family focused, comprehensive services. Head Start is community-based, providing education and so much more, from health, nutrition, dental, mental health, social services to parent engagement opportunities! Available for income eligible, children with special needs, and at-risk children and their families.
Since its establishment in 1965, HARCATUS Head Start has helped low-income preschool children and their families. Program options available are preschool, home based, and Early Head Start.
HARCATUS has earned recognition and support for its success in Early Childhood Education and Development. Our Head Start program serves 299 children and their families in the counties of HARrison, CArroll, and TUScarawas (HARCATUS).
