Community Services

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is a core program of HARCATUS, and provides assistance to minimize the effects of poverty for low-income households in Harrison, Carroll and Tuscarawas Counties.


Eligibility for Community Services Emergency-Based Programs:

  • Complete CSBG Application
  • Meet specific income guidelines
  • Have an immediate need or emergency situation
  • Provide proof of residency

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry and Taxable Item program has been created to aid in providing non-perishable food items and taxable items on an emergency basis to income eligible Harrison County residents. The Food Pantry runs solely on the donations of product and/or money and is run by volunteers.


Availability:

  • This is an emergency-based program; therefore, we can only assist a Harrison County household once every 30 days.

The Clothes Closet provides clothing and shoes for all ages on an emergency basis to income eligible Carroll County residents. The Clothes Closet runs solely on the donations of product and/or money and is run by volunteers.

  • This is an emergency-based program; therefore, we can only assist a Carroll County household once every 30 days.
